Conny Olz

Conny pursues her Dr. rer. nat. at Ulm University (UUlm), Germany. She's co-supervised by Prof. Biundo (my former supervisor) and me. (From January 2019 ongoing.)

She is focusing on the research question which impact on states compound tasks in HTN planning have. She primarily focuses on totally ordered HTN planning. She investigates the computational complexity of these problems, computes those preconditions and effects in practice, and finally exploits them in a progression search planner. With this planner, she has won all three tracks (agile, satisficing, and optimal) at the International Planning Competition 2023.
