My Favorite Publications

By now, I have far more than 150 publications; yet alone >80 conference papers. Thus, I think there might be some worth in pointing out those that I think stand out in some way.

As explained in more detail on the page outlining my main research interests, my work spans several directions, including hierarchical task network (HTN) planning, partial-order causal-link (POCL) planning, and the detection and automatic correction of flaws in planning models (which I also refer to as modelling support). Across these areas, I work both on practical algorithms as well as on theoretical foundations aimed at uncovering interesting, important, or hopefully both :), properties.

Depending on perspective, this results in quite a few potential favorites. Consequently, the list below is not short, but it reflects what I consider some of the more distinctive or meaningful contributions among my work.

Disclaimer. Although in the vast majority of works where I am last author, the main ideas or often mine, most of the hard work is almost always done by the lead author. So, "my work" refers to me being co-author, not claiming key contributions, which are usually by the lead authors of these works; I am just lucky enough to guide the way to interesting results.
